Prevention through Nutrition

Prevention

The prevention of prostate conditions is becoming increasingly important. Therefore, correct nutrition is advisable as a preventive measure. Mediterranean cuisine is generally believed to be the healthiest, so the more Mediterranean your diet is, the healthier (often rather low-fat dishes, olive oil, fruit, plenty of vitamin A, D and E, one or two glasses of red wine a day).

In addition, there are clear indications that Asian food (plenty of soy and vitamin E, minimal use of fats) also prevents malignant tumors that could lead to prostate cancer. Japan and China have the lowest prostate cancer rates in the world.

Research indicates that soy, onions, apples, teas and tomatoes can retard the growth rate of benign enlargements of the prostate.
